Well, I have a 2 year old and potty training is what 2 year olds do so here are a few funny potty stories.
Story #1
A
month or so ago when Cecelia started coop, she became even more
interested in using the potty and I wasn't fully prepare for this. We
were at the park and she decided she needed to "poop" and wanted her
diaper off. The diaper was soaked any way and silly me had no other
diapers with me. So I couldn't just let her poop on the ground so I
looked in my stroller and all I had was a church bulletin from the past
Sunday. So I laid it out and she only peed on it. It not the Bible,
right?
Story #2
One Friday we ventured out on a whim to an
early dinner to a new local restaurant here. I needed to use the
bathroom so I invited Cecelia in case she wanted to try. Cecelia was
perched on the toilet just taking her time and she heard a woman in the
next stall, well, go pee. Cecelia has only co-pottied with friends and
family so she thought it must be daddy. So she yelled out, "Yeah,
daddy, you did it!" I hope the woman appreciated the encouragement.
Story #3
We
are giving cloth diaper another go especially with a new cloth diaper
supply store 2 or 3 blocks a way, it has made the learning curve a
little easier. But I am still no good at it.
